Attention: Leaders!!!

posted Oct 2, 2016, 7:39 PM by Cubmaster 1

As most of you have heard, we have transitioned our records management from Packmaster software to Scoutbook.  The improvements in functionality and features is very exciting and will certainly make it easier than ever to track many aspects of Pack and Den activity.

Not familiar with Scoutbook?  No problem!  Mark your calendar and plan to be at this month's District Roundtable--information and training on Scoutbook will be offered to all who are interested!  This month's event will be Thursday, October 6, at 7pm, which is immediately following the District Committee Meeting (which you are also welcome to attend).  Location is the Central United Methodist Church on New Hope (just east of I-49) in Rogers.

The Bentonville Christmas Parade is set for Saturday, December 12th, at 11:00AM.  This year's theme is "Holidays in Santa's Workshop".  Our pack float will feature our Scouts helping Santa build wooden cars--specifically, Pinewood Derby Cars!

We have several build sessions coming up for our float assembly, and we're always looking for volunteers to help!  Be watching your email for ways you can help make this a memorable and fun event for the boys!

On Saturday, December 12th, our pack will be participating in the annual Wreaths Across America event at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.  This event honors our fallen heroes by placing evergreen wreaths on their gravestones.  Be watching your email from Pack leadership on how your Scout can participate in this year's event.

2015 Crossover Movie!

posted May 16, 2015, 8:25 PM by Cubmaster 1   [ updated May 16, 2015, 8:29 PM ]

CONGRATULATIONS to all of our Scouts as they move into their new ranks!  Below, you can find the movie that was shown at the event this evening, which chronicles the events of the past year.  We hope you enjoy it!

NOTE: This is the full-HD version.  It is a VERY large file, so it may not perform well on some systems.  If you have trouble viewing it, there is an alternate version below that may perform better.

We can also burn a DVD quality copy upon request, for a $5 donation to the Pack to help cover costs.

posted May 11, 2015, 7:24 PM by Cubmaster 1

It's hard to believe it, but the year is quickly drawing to a close.  Soon, it will be time for summer vacation!  Our Cub Scout program officially ends for the 2014-2015 year on Saturday, May 18th.  This is the day of our Crossover Ceremony, when Cub Scouts "cross over" to their next rank.  This year's ceremony will be held at Blowing Springs Park in Bella Vista, beginning at 5PM.  Dinner will be served at 5:30, and the ceremony will begin at 6:30.

Please RSVP as soon as possible to our Cubmaster, as we'll need an accurate headcount to make sure we have plenty of food for everyone.  Contact our Cubmaster if you have any questions!
