Our annual food drive, Scouting for Food, which was originally slated for the first week of February, has been moved to this coming week (February 22-March 1).  We had a wonderful time today at our kick-off event at Walmart in Bentonville--THANK YOU to all Scouts and Leaders who helped out!  Our food drive this year benefits the food pantry at First Presbyterian Church of Bentonville (our Charter Organization).  Bags will be handed out at the Den Meeting on Monday, February 17.  On Saturday, February 22nd, give out bags to your neighbors, friends, family, or anyone else who might be interested in participating.  They then have one week to fill the bag with donations, which Scouts will pick up on March 1st.  We will have a drop-off area set up to receive the donations.  Watch your email--and this space--for specific information on where and when to drop off food donations on March 1st.  This is a wonderful opportunity to help the less fortunate in our local area!
