The Cub Scout Promise, Law of the Pack, and Motto

What is the first thing a Cub Scout Learns?

When a boy first joins Cub Scouts, he will earn his first badge right away:  the Bobcat Badge.  The first step in earning this is for him to memorize the Scout Oath, the Scout Law, and the Cub Scout Motto:

Scout Oath Scout Law Cub Scout Motto
On my honor
I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

A Scout is

Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
